Trainings for leaders of intercultural youth exchanges
The training is implemented every year and available for participants from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Montenegro and Serbia. The training program for leaders of intercultural youth exchanges is certified by the German-French Youth Office and follows the curriculum developed by OFAJ / DFJW.
The aim of the training is to train and empower participants to plan, organize and implement intercultural youth exchanges. The training consists of three one-week modules that are implemented in Germany, France and Serbia. It is intended for participants who have experience with workcamps or youth exchanges, and primarily for those who are interested in organizing and conducting intercultural youth exchanges.
During the training, participants gain theoretical knowledge and practical experience in the following areas: leadership, competencies of leaders in intercultural exchanges; work with groups, group development, dynamics of group work; team work, team roles, international team work; language animations; culture and intercultural learning; designing youth exchange programs, logistics, financial plan, program evaluation: prejudices and stereotypes, conflicts, communication; program financing, project writing and budgeting, preparation of narrative and financial report; different methodological approaches in intercultural youth work.
