Activities in the Local Community
In Novi Sad and neighboring areas, Volunteers’ Centre of Vojvodina organizes volunteering, educational and social activities, and initiatives such as:
- Workshops aimed at improving the capacity of young people, activists, youth workers, coordinators of volunteers using horizontal and non-formal education
- Benefit events for other local and regional initiatives and collectives in need
- Information sessions on workcamps and other opportunities for volunteering and mobility
- Activities such as film screenings, forums, exhibitions aimed at raising awareness of various important social and environmental topics
- One-time volunteer actions and long-term volunteer activities aimed at solving a certain problem or contributing to society and the environment
- International workcamps
Also, Volunteers’ Centre of Vojvodina participates in:
- Initiatives for young people or local activists, providing various forms of support
- Education fairs as well as opportunity fairs for young people, with an information stand
- Festivals in Novi Sad and the region, with support in the form of coordination of volunteers
- Debates on current social issues, which promote values related to us, and deal with volunteering or activism
- Volunteer actions organized by other local and regional organizations and collectives
