Trainings for youth workers aims<\/b> to improve the overall competencies of young workers as well as those in relation to specific topics, while enabling them to learn about examples of good practices and experiences of other organizations from Europe and the region.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

These trainings are intended for professional youth workers, activists, coordinators, other employees, volunteers of youth organizations and organizations for youth. The average duration<\/b> of such group experiences is one week, however, the mobility of individual youth workers (to stay in another organization and country for training) can last up to two months.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Topics covered<\/b> in such training include active citizenship, gender issues, intercultural learning, non-violent conflict management, anti-racism, environmental sustainability, and the inclusion of young people with disabilities. All projects are also based on respect and equal opportunities and promote participation regardless of nationality, religion, gender identity or sexual orientation.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Non-formal Education<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tThese trainings are based on the use of non-formal education<\/b>: a set of learning methods and tools that promote the horizontal exchange of knowledge by participants and their active involvement during the learning process. This approach is in fact based on the principles of experiential learning as well as intercultural learning, with the application of interactive and horizontal methods. Such training is realized primarily with the co-financing of the European Commission (through the Erasmus + program) but also others such as the Franco-German Office for Youth (OFAJ): accommodation, food, insurance, and travel costs are covered.
